After working as a heavy equipment operator for 4 years, I decided it was time for a change of career. I helped my boyfriend with his books and grew an interest in bookkeeping. I began studying bookkeeping as a stay-at-home mom and gained a few certificates along the way. I’m looking to get a degree and continue to study. With the knowledge I will gain from studying, I want to work with clients who need help with their bookkeeping so they can focus on their own business. We can work together to help their business thrive.

I am a bit of a perfectionist which means I like a job well done. I will always find alternatives when there’s issues to get the job well done. I’m consistent and employers have trusted me to do a good job and swiftly. I also know how to take initiative and would often prepare jobs areas to make it easier for everyone else.

My biggest accomplishment is my daughter. As I was a stay-at-home mom, I was able to see her grow but now I am ready to embark in a new journey with bookkeeping.

Besides my professional passions, I’m passionate about homesteading. The lost art of preserving food and making things from scratch while producing your own food has always been interesting and appealing to me.
