With a background of working as a family law legal assistant for over 5 years, I gained a passion for helping people. Working in this field was not always easy as you are helping people through what is most often a very difficult time of their lives. The administrative aspects of this position such as file management, client management and accounting brought me to this new adventure as a bookkeeper.

After joining Tandembooks Inc. in September 2019, my main focus remains to help our clients. The day to day accounting of a business can become very time consuming and I am here to alleviate that burden by using the strengths of file management that I have developed over the years.

I believe that knowledge growth is a constant and extremely important aspect of any career. When I joined Tandembooks Inc. I decided to return to college to obtain a bookkeeping certificate with Algonquin College. I look forward to applying the knowledge I will gain in the next year to my clients’ files in helping them with the day to day bookkeeping needs of their business and to evolve their accounting methods.

As much as I love what I do for work, I do have other interests. Residing in Wendover with my husband, our dog Flo and our cat Benzo, we spend a lot of time outdoors. Exercising is a big passion of mine. Besides my biggest accomplishment of buying my first home when I was 26 years old, I can now say that I have completed a half marathon and continue to find new challenges to keep healthy.
